Transport / Logistics and Specialist Services

As part of the TONE Group of companies we have a large, modern transport fleet at our disposal. This fleet is available to hire complete with experienced driver/operator for all of your bespoke transport requirements. All of our drivers operate to the rules and regulations under the E.U. Drivers Hours Rules & Road Transport & Working Time Directives. They all receive ALLMI crane training and also carry licenses for Tele-handler & Counter balance fork lift training.

We have a dedicated Transport Manager who ensures that the group complies with the requirements of it's operators licence and maintains the schedules issued by VOSA. The transport division also ensures that all vehicles are kept in a clean, road worthy condition and that our in house fleet department are kept informed of any defects.

Some of our specialist services include:

• The movement of plant & machinery on our 40 foot low loader plant trailer
• Transport of goods & equipment over rough terrain with our specialist 8 wheel rigid bed lorries. These vehicles also have 40 foot remote operating HIAB cranes.
• The delivery and collection of goods Airside from several BAA operated airports.
• The delivery & collection of goods ANYWHERE in the UK at short notice.
